The Babcock-Davis B-FRD Series is an oversized, 2-hr fire rated access door approved for use in walls and ceilings. Warnock-Hersey listed for 2 hours in walls and ceilings.

- Access Door: 18-gauge steel door with a 22-gauge steel liner filled with 1-1/2" thick high temperature fire rated insulation (Temperature rise maximum 139°C/ 250°F at 30 minutes,250°C/450°F at 60 minutes.)
- Access Door Frame: 16-gauge steel for sizes up to 30" x 48", 14-gauge for larger sizes.
- Access Door Flange: 7/8" flange for sizes up to 36" x 36", 1-1/4" wide flange for larger sizes.
- Access Door Hinge: continuous rod hinge (standard), piano hinge on hinge length longer than 48" (in wall position)
- Access Door Fire Rating: Walls and Ceilings: Warnock-Hersey listed for 2 hours.
- Closure: Universal self-latching closure, operated by 1/4" allen key wrench with inside release. Spring assisted door closure
- Access Door Finish: Rust inhibitive prime coat (off white)
